Regarding the interface of Personal Knowbase, it basically features three sections, two for storing keywords and the third for displaying the actual information. How the program works is not something difficult to understand even for beginners. Every task added into the program has its own keywords. These words are displayed into a list and when a user selects one or more of them, he will be directly taken to the corresponding task or appointments. There is no need for searching for information, thus the time required for finding certain information is the lowest possible. One can use the classical menu or the graphical buttons for adding records and keywords into the program.

Every record stored in the program has its title and data clearly displayed in the top of it, so the user can quickly see if the information is exactly what he is looking for. Personal Knowbase includes some basic text editing, offering the possibility for changing the font, the color or adding a paragraph. A record stored in the program can be easily exported as a text, CSV or HTML file, for reusing it later. Besides that, the program allows importing text files created using various text editors. Furthermore, the list of keywords can be added from a text file.
